Kayaking is a way for me to get away and have some solitude. I like to go for a paddle by myself and think big thoughts. I guess I am a bit of a philosopher at times, thinking of new ways of doing things, making things or just thinking about life in general. I live in a beautiful state filled with adventure. It is a great place to overcome your fears. Fear of the deep water or of bears or snakes or dark water or just the unknown. You have to embrace life and meet it head on so no fear is in you. You just become clear with no baggage of the world, just happiness and freedom. I love to feel free, free from the cares of this world, that is why I love the water so much, it makes me free when I look at it.
Christmas in September!
I went camping at my girlfriend's house. Karen had a Christmas theme and we all decorated our vintage trailers like Christmas was soon to arrive. We had a little tree outside with twinkly lights. All of us girls (about 8 or so) made or brought ornaments for the tree. Santa came and passed out gifts to all of us. We had a potluck one night and went out to dinner for the other night. The days were warm enough to get some sun and play in the hose. It just goes to show you that you can have any theme and still the party will go on and on! How fun is Glamping.
